Yesterday I got my little basket quilt top pinned and ready to quilt on the machine. I'm itching to do some machine quilting...it has been forever.
I thought it would be fun to do this little quilt because it's so springy and bright...and, after all, it's spring, right? Well, this morning, as I get ready to work on my computer, I'm watching it SNOW! In April, in Oklahoma! I tried but can't get a picture of the snow. The flakes are big so I don't know why they don't show up on the camera.. How crazy is this weather??? We have flowers and the trees have their new leaves and my lawn guy was supposed to come today to mow for the 3rd time this year! Crazy! Hope your weather is better wherever you are! Have a great Monday! XO and cheery wave from the frozen South!

I totally understand. we live west of Chicago, two days ago it was in the 70's they are now calling for snow!
I just love how you put colors together. They are always so pretty.
Your baskets are so pretty and spring like....even if it is snowing!
Love the baskets. The border is perfect. Cold and windy in Dallas after 80's last week. Still waiting for the "real" spring to show up.
I just checked our weather and we need to bring in the plants because it is supposed to freeze tonight. I'm in MO.
I just talked to my parents who live in Edmond. They couldn't believe you had snow this morning! It didn't stick at their house, but it was still there. Now they are working on protecting their newly planted spring plants. I hope your weather gets better! In the meantime enjoy sewing. :)
Can you believe this weather? I had to go out and move all of my pots of flowers to the covered front porch and hope they survive. Don't know about the things I can't move. Crazy!!!!

PS Love that quilt!
love the colours in this quilt, very spring like. Trust the snow has now gone what ever next. here it is very spring like but with Easter at the end of the week it will no doubt be raining and cold
Michigan here - still have snow and not many signs of Spring! Loved to see the Spring quilt of flowers!
