Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful day with your families. My family is in Hawaii, somewhere on the beach in Mexico that I can't pronounce and Disney Orlando. So Charlie and Lola and I are alone today. I'm joining the rows of the Bee in my Bonnet Row Along quilt. If I get them all together, I'll try getting the borders done. One of the borders is a pieced border so don't know if that one will get done today.
The row under the apples is supposed to be going the other way like little "v's". I turned it upside down and am going to add a head at the end to make it like a worm going after the apples. I wanted to copy the other Row Along people who have finished their quilts and do a border with scraps but I think with the polka dots and the bright colors, I might need to do a solid to frame it in better. It's cloudy here today so can't get a good photo yet. I'm always apologizing for my photos because they are so dark and dingy looking. I just need to visualize that Canon Rebel better and draw it to me!

Don't forget that this is the last day to enter the March Giveaway! I'll announce the winner tomorrow. You can enter HERE if you haven't already.  Also tomorrow I'm going to steer you to a new BOM. It's free and it's so cute! It has embroidery and I haven't really done that. I don't even know for sure what supplies I need. I assume I need some kind of hoop and special thread and needles. If anyone wants to let me know the right stuff to buy, I'd appreciate it! It also has piecing and applique. This BOM has downloadable instructions and patterns and she's going to do a row a month. I'll give you the details tomorrow. I'm thinking that, even if I don't have time to do a row a month, I can download the pattern and save it.

Again, Happy Easter! Thank you from me to Jesus for His sacrifice. I can't imagine. Bless you all and have a wonderful day! Cheery wave from Bev

I think you have the cutest row along that I have seen. I love the polka dot background fabric. The flowers you added to the baskets are darling. Your idea about the caterpillar is genius! Thanks for sharing your progress.

Wow Bev your quilt is looking fantastic. I was going to make the tulip row this easter but I am sick with a horrible cold so I haven't done much at all except stitch, Have a great week.

What wonderous love--while we were yet sinners He died for us then rose that we too may have life. To God and to the Lamb, we will sing of His great love for us. Happy Easter to you also!

Such a cheerful quilt; the flowers added to your baskets make the extra special.

Happy Easter! I just started embroidery and 2 very helpful things for me are both DMC products
1) 3 in 1 needle Threader - I learned the hard way, less than $2
2) Emma Broidery's Embroidery Stitch Tool - it tells you everything you need to buy and explains how to do 18 different stitches. It is a great reference, small, and durable.

I have nothing to do with DMC but I know these two things have helped a bunch!
