More Scrappy Trips Blocks and a Stamp

I got 4 more Scrappy Trips Around the World blocks finished. They aren't sewn together because I want to mix those fabrics up with some others so will wait until those are finished. They sort of all look alike, don't they. Guess I'll try cutting up some of my older fabrics from my stash this weekend. This is the second set of 4 blocks:

and here are the first four blocks:
Look what you can do just by turning them a different way. I love this pattern!

Here's another thing I've been wanting to show you. Years ago, when I only had my Charlie dog, I found this stamp on eBay that had a little black and white Shih Tzu on it:

About a month after I bought this stamp, Pets and People, a local animal rescue organization that I make dog collars for, called me and said they had just taken in 40 dogs from a puppy mill raid. They asked me if I would take one of the dogs. I said yes and, sight unseen, I got Lola. She was in really bad shape and almost didn't make it. It was a horrible situation (typical of puppy mills). To make a long story short, where would I ever have found a stamp of all things, from a foreign country, with both of my dogs on the front. I just thought I'd share that with you because I always thought it was meant to be.

Well, I have to get to work. I'm writing about designer clothing today. I hope you have a wonderful Thursday...I can see the weekend....it's almost here! Cheery wave from Bev

love your blocks, love how you can change the look by just turning them. I love your story of your fur babies, how special they are. Reading your story makes me miss my little Fro even more (he was a shih tzu too)

You know that stamp was probably made just for you and your puppies, don't you?

Your blocks are so pretty.

Gorgeous blocks , Bev and a lovely doggie story. The mere thought of puppy mills makes me so mad. Lola is a lucky pup to be blessed with you & Charlie as her family.
Have a happy weekend, xx
