Or pretty cool for July.... We are having a very pleasant few days of record breaking cool weather. Sure beats last year when we set the record for continuous days of temperatures over 100 degrees...I think it was 67 days straight. The "cold snap" plus all the "Christmas in July" stuff I've been seeing on blogs made me think of my Wear Warm Clothes quilt.
It's from a pattern by Country Threads and I have always loved it. Maybe after we finish Winter Soltice quilt along at Paulette's Blog, we can do this one. It has applique and piecing and it's fun to hang for the entire winter season. Let me know if you're interested. We would probably start in the fall. I've been working on things that are not even in the kind of shape to show you. It's weird to have projects that I can't finish in one day. Well, gotta go work at my pesky "real job". Today I'm writing about baby clothes. They are so cute! Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday! XO and cheery wave from Bev Oh, Elisina says to tell you all thank you for the good thoughts and comments (see my last post). Things just keep getting worse over there. We are so fortunate!

I was just humming the Baby it's cold outside song last night, love that song. It's been "cold" here also. Mowed the grass yesterday in long pants and flannel shirt. No complaints though, much nicer than what we've had the last couple of years. Now that I've got that song in my head again I think watch the movie "Elf" while sewing my binding. There's a cute little shower scene with that song.
Aww! I love the Baby It's Cold Outside duet in Elf too!
And the quilt! I bought a used copy of the book that the quilt was first published in just a few months ago so that I could make it! Keep me posted!!!!!
That is a darling quilt. I don't know how you do everything you do!

It is so HOT here today!! Love that quilt but will have to pass on making it...we head south for the winter...so this quilt would just sit in the cupboard collecting dust until our wings get clipped!! We like to think desert...as in hot and sunny! No mittens allowed! :O))
Take care and happy stitching!
It has been pretty cool here in MO too, I'm loving it!
