Another Block (I know-I know) and some cute stuff!

Last night I finished Block No. 35 of 36 for the Lady Liberty quilt so don't worry, I'll only be putting up one more after this one. I'm sure it's boring for you guys but it's all I've got!

I'm so proud to be actually getting close to a finish...oh wait...I still have the border. Well, hopefully I'll have some time to work it this weekend. After teasing us with moderate, pleasant 60 degree weather, Mother Nature is sending an ice storm with more Arctic air. sigh.... I was sent this really cute paper piecing block that I want to try:

I've been really good about not starting something new and just working on ufo's but isn't this cute?  It has a lot of pieces though. It's by Beth Maddocks from Switzerland. Her website is www.piecebynumber.com. And, I'm in pillow love with these:

They were on Pinterest and the best I can figure, they are from Sanoma in Denmark and were made in 2009. So adorable! I love each one. Well, enough hanging out with you guys. I have to work and also have to go get my car tag (yes, it's the last day of the month but I wasn't sure I would be able to pull off the money for the tag but I did, thank you God!)!! I also have other errands to run. What are you up to? Hope you're having a great Friday! XO and cheery wave from Bev

Can you please tell me what pattern source you are using for your New York Beauty blocks? They are gorgeous.

one block to go and then we will see this beauty complete, have been trying to picture it in my mind so will be interesting to see what it really looks like. The fabric on the little piece, not spotty but hollow circles is very eye catching, could do with some of that for my stash so will look out for it when I go to a quilt show.
