No Piecing Lately---Working Like Crazy to Pay for My VERY Expensive Doggie!

Good Friday to you! No sewing for me! I've been working to pay for Charlie's medical expenses. I figure that he is now worth approximately $160. a pound. All it takes for me to be glad about this situation is for him to give me "that look" and a little affectionate lick. But speaking of what something is worth, here's a quilt I made that took tons of time!

I found this accounting of what a quilt is worth by Molli Sparkles:

I think this is pretty cool. These amounts are based on Australian money so it would probably be more for us here in the US. You can find Molli's blog article HERE. Before you go, be sure to enter our giveaway for Lori Holt's new book! I'll announce the winner this weekend! XO and cheery wave from Bev

That's an interesting table regarding the quilt, sometimes it's best not to think of the cost! Give Charlie a cuddle from me too :-)
Happy weekend, to you three xxx

Oh dear, knowing the cost of quilting has given me a shock!
I had no idea but I will say the end results is so beautiful, each quilt a unique tableau!
Thank you for the information though.
Poor Charlie! Hugs to him!
Happy Thanksgiving,

So good to read your little friend is doing so well on his medication.

Lovely quilt, your sums remind me of when I did C & G embroidery, we had to cost out all our projects, was quite enlightening how may hours went into each one.

Lovely quilt...the ordinary non-quilter has NO idea how much $$ a quilt is worth!! Poor Charlie...hope he's feeling better!! We have a sick dog too..spent WAY TOO much $$ on tests and they still don't know what's wrong...they think 'collapsed trachea'...old age? She is 9 1/2!! And yes, we know ALL about 'that look' hahah
