After the Turkey...

I hope everyone had a great holiday! We had a fun reunion evening on Wednesday night and then the big, giant meal on Thursday. I have a great pic of the kids on my phone and can't figure out how to get it onto the computer. I don't have a fancy IPhone...just an android. Maybe someone will help me figure it out. I tried to use Dropbox but can't figure that out either. I should have taken my old-fashioned camera! I did get another Oklahoma Beauty block finished. This one looks great in person but when I took a photo, the colors look off. Again, don't know why because I am NOT a technical person.

I have to work today but have another Beauty block cut out and it's so hard to wait to sew it up! I just love doing these and I'm sure you are sick of hearing about them. You've been very patient friends. With my need to work extra for Charlie's vet bill, I just don't get much time to do anything fun that I can write about. Charlie is chugging right along and he does things like jump on the couch that he couldn't do before so it's well worth all the extra work. Part of my problem is staying awake to work at night and not taking a day off.  Taking most of Thursday off, it was hard to make myself work on Friday (and today).

Well, this is a very boring blog post. Sorry about that. Just nothing exciting going on here. I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful holiday weekend and that you got to spend Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Have a great rest of the weekend! XO and Cheery wave from Bev

Hi Bev - Those blocks are so pretty. They look so complicated tho. Glad Charlie is doing so well. We had a quiet Thanksgiving but were with family for a short while. John isn't handling crowds very well.

Have a great weekend.

Glad you had a happy thanksgiving with your family, and so good to hear that Charlie's doing well. Look after yourself too, don't burn out. Hugs xx

It is good to read that Charlie is doing so well but you must be careful not to make yourself ill working too hard as you will be no use to him then, end of lecture. Can`t help with phone photos, my phone does not take pics too antiquated. Love your latest block and no I am certainly not getting bored with them

I can't wait to see all of your blocks together! I'm sorry to hear Charlie has been ill. I moved and was without internet for almost a month and missed a lot of posts!
