Virtual Quilting Bee Block #4

Good morning! It's a beautiful day today! Sun and 70 degrees! I'm so tired of cold weather. Of course, shortly I'll be complaining about the heat. Last night I finished the Virtual Quilting Bee Block 4. It looked so plain compared to the others because I didn't include the fussy cut Daisy Cottage brocade in this block. So I cut a tiny flower from the brocade and put it in the middle of the block. Here's the block with the flower:
 And here it is without:
I was going to make a collage now that I have done 4 blocks but now I can't find a program that doesn't cost money now. PicMonkey is where I used to make them but now they charge. I've been using Picasa 3 to edit my photos and I really like it but I can't find anything on it for a collage. Anyone know of a free collage maker?

I took the stripe off the Oklahoma Beauty block that was distorted by the iron and will put a new one on today. I have to have the electrician this week because there is an apparent short in the electrical system. Yesterday afternoon there was a loud "bang" and I went outside to see if I could see what caused it. All my neighbors were out in the street and apparently a transformer blew up. It was really loud and really close...ugg. It was a great opportunity to see if anyone else was having problems with their electricity like mine and no-one was. The transformer took out the electricity on all the houses across the street from me. Everyone was so freaked out by the loud explosion sound. Crazy.

Found this on Pinterest and just love it so I thought I'd share. This is what I wish for you all! Cheery wave from Bev

Photoscape is a free editor that will allow you to make collages and so much more.

Love the graphic! So true - nothing makes me happier than a full bobbin!

Bev - if you do decide to go with Pic Monkey that you pay for - now you can do a year for much cheaper than monthly. Check it out.

Have a warm, great day!
