My Little Project Has Morphed....

Hello! As many of you know, I live in Oklahoma City, the capitol of Tornado Alley. We have been having tons of rain, hail, wind, etc. My "Emergency Alert" app on my phone has been coming on at least 3 times a night. I'm not really afraid because we have such good weather forecasters here but I do have a healthy respect for what tornadoes can do. So, to get to sewing, I have been stitching up leaders and enders that are 2.5" squares into 4-patches. I have a ton of them now so I decided to stitch them up.

First, I alternated the 4-patches with the black dot fabric and that was too plain and too much black. So I decided to add some flowers because I just love flowers on everything. Anyway, my little leader and ender project has now morphed-lol. So what are you doing for Mother's Day? I hope you're having a wonderful weekend! I'm off for more playing in the sewing room! But first, take a look at this!

Whoa, right? XO from Bev!

I love the flowers on the black and white dot! Way to go. It has been rainy and gray all last night and today here in Western Colorado, sorry it will probably lead to more unstable weather for you. :0(

I stumbled upon your blog because of your fabric and I started following because I grew up in OKC on 44th St. =) Lots of great memories and friends that I cherish to this day. Loving what your working on.

the blocks are looking pretty, the flowers definately do it for me, have you needle turned them, if so it must have taken you hours. The sky looks so threatening, must not grumble about the rain we have had when I read how bad it is with you, fingers crossed the sun comes out for you soon but do not send the rain over the pond!
