Good morning! I thought I would show you my Swoon block with little houses. I dyed the sky fabric myself and was just looking for a place to use it!
AND...I have found the ultimate best machine quilting tutorials! I just HAD to share these with you! Have you ever heard of Patsy Thompson? I was intrigued when I saw the words, "spray basting wall". Basting has been a real challenge for me because I'm so old and fat that I can't get down on the floor, I don't have a table big enough and so I just end up with tons of unquilted tops. Well, let me clarify that...I can get down on the floor...I just can't get back up! So, anyway, I have discovered a ton of this woman's free tutorials about basting on the wall, machine quilting and machine applique! She is awesome! Even if you are an experienced machine quilter, it would be worth your time to check these out. I learned so much! You can find these free tutorials HERE.
If you are here for the Grow Your Blog Giveaway, you can find it HERE. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday! XO and cheery wave from Bev

I love your Swoon Houses! So original and sweet. Great job!
Wow! The sky is beautiful. You always pick such bright and happy colors. And the little owls in the middle - so fun!
I love that swoon block, and the little owls in the middle is perfect! Just the block would make an adorable wall hanging!
Holy Cow! That is amazing! Thanks for the links, basting is just the worst part for me too!
I MUST make a spray basting board!!
Hi there, I love this quilt and I would like to use a picture of it as a logo for a community solar project.
Can you please allow me to do this?
The project is this: find a way to combine 5 or so houses solar panel electricity so that it can be shared.
I am from Moreland Energy Foundation Ltd in Australia, a not for profit organisation getting more solar panels on roofs.
If I can use this quilt image I would likely simplify it somewhat as it would be smaller, but it would be strongly identifiable as the quilt image on this page.
Either way, all the best,
Craig
