Good morning! Hope you are all doing well. I had my MRI and it wasn't bad at all. It was an "open MRI" which means the machine has no sides. I really freak out with enclosed spaces so I was really apprehensive but it was a good experience. I did keep my eyes closed because the ceiling of the machine is about 5 inches above your face. Also, the technician did 1 to 2 minute sessions with rest in between. The machine wasn't loud either. Some of the MRI machines have a really loud knocking but not this one. So, if you have to get an MRI, I recommend the open MRI. Now, to the fun stuff! Lori Holt has a new Sew Along with Flower Box blocks.
I don't know how she keeps coming up with these easy sew along projects.
She is one creative quilt designer. And I'm so proud because this was
first on Instagram and I found it. I'm slowly learning about Instagram.
Please visit me there-I'm Fabric Woman (I couldn't get my own
name..there must be another person out there with my name). Anyway, these are my first blocks. When you cut these blocks, you get two blocks to make with these same fabrics. This is a good pattern to use up your Layer Cakes.
This is really a fun block to make because it's so easy. Lori's directions are very clear and detailed and you can find them HERE. You can go to Instagram and enter #FlowerBoxSewAlong and see everyone's blocks. I hope you have a great Friday! Most of the fabric in the shop is still half price or about $4.50 a yard. Check out the sale stuff HERE. XO Bev

Sew cute! I wanted to join the quilt along but I know me...I'd not finish it before getting sidetracked, and I promised my grandson an ugly spiderman quilt. I'm gonna need prayers to get me through this quilt!
I've never had an MRI, I hope the tests get you the answers you need!
I love your blocks especially the flower print. I was thinking of joining but I have so much on my plate now that I will enjoy watching. Hope your results come back soon and OK.
Thanks for this!
