Polka dots are such a great way to add interest or movement to a quilt. Tone on tones like these would be great for applique backgrounds or sashing.
I am working on a simple nine-patch mini-quilt and I'm using polka dots for the sashing, in lieu of a solid color. I love polka dots!
I use polka dots in baby quilts, for backings, and anytime I want to add a bit of whimsy to a quilt. Tone on tone dots or swirls are my favorite blenders.

I just love polka dots. These tone-on-tone will be great to use as solids. I would especially love to use them in my Farmer's Wife blocks. These colors will work perfectly with the Apple of My Eye fabric that I am using.
I love to make clothes with polka dots as well use them in quilts.
I've always loved polka dots and like you sometimes use smaller dots in sashing or backgrounds. These tone on tone polka dots are lovely.

I like to mix polka dots with solid colors. I think it makes adorable baby quilts.
I always use polka dots... I love them as linings in my bags and totes. And as a bottom 1/3 of a bag front... black and white are my most common!
