Live Reindeer Feed!

Tuesday! How is everyone today? It's been hard for me to get into the Christmas spirit and it really helps to see my blogger friends decorating their homes. Many of you have Christmas quilts and decorations and it's fun to see them all. Thanks so much for sharing.

Last night I got more of the Great Granny Quilt Along blocks done (thank you Lori Holt)! I did a collage to see how many I need for a quilt. I have 13 so far.
Here's how it auto-populated in the Picassa collage builder. I think I'm going to have to do 3 more blocks and have 16 for the finished quilt. They are 12" finished. This is such an easy and quick pattern and fun to do too. I just have to decide sashing and borders...anyone have any ideas?

So enough about that...here's the fun stuff! I found a great website and phone app! It's Santa's Official Live Feed! It's a 24-hour view of live reindeer! They get fed by Santa 4 times a day and you can even watch them at night. There's a live feed scrolling the "Nice List" names and Christmas trees and a North Pole. So cute! You can watch it HERE! The reindeer have been milling around all morning but feeding time is 2 minutes away and they are now waiting at the fence for their food. Santa is showing off this morning juggling Christmas ornaments. So fun!

Have a great Tuesday! Hope you get some time to sew!  Cheery wave from Bev

I adore your quilt!! I'm so jealous and a little mad at myself for flaking! Thanks for the link!

I think I would do a red for the sashing to pick up the red in the blocks and maybe a blue (or is it aqua?) from the blocks for the border. I love your blocks! I have the blocks for mine cut out, I just need to cut out the rest of the ends for the background fabric.
