Ever feel like making and easy, whimsical, wonky blocks?
These are wonky blocks from Mary Lou Weidman's Out of the Box book.
You just use your scraps and make blocks.
You don't have templates.
You just start cutting.
I do like to have the rule that I use all bright colors and add black and white prints.
And you just don't worry about how they will look. I'm sure some of you are saying, "well, she sure didn't worry about that"!
I want to make more...lots more!
Gina says, "What will you do with them"? Hummmmm.
Oh well, have a happy Friday! Cheery wave from Bev

I like them because they are so bright and cheerful. And wacky - maybe that's why I like them! ha.

Such bright happy looking blocks, I am sure some child would love a quilt made out of these. Good job.
I love them! It would make a great lap quilt!
What great blocks...love the bright colors and fabrics! TFS
Nice! I agree with another comment: this will make a pretty (and cheery) lap quilt.
I love no rules!
These are gorgeous! I like the idea of just cutting and sewing and ending up with these fabulous blocks. The colours are wonderful - very Mary Engelbreit, don't you think? And just perfect with the monochromes too. They will make a stunning quilt all together.
Hugs xx
