Great Tutorial

Happy Thursday morning! This morning it was 75 degrees and cloudy. Now, 2 hours later, the wind is blowing like crazy and it is 50 degrees. The cold front came in and probably signals the last of our late summer weather. So a perfect day to stay in, be cozy and make something! If you haven't already, you need to go to the Fiberluscious website and take a look at Jill's tutorials for pincushions and embroidery. You can visit it HERE.
You can make an apple pincushion (the current tutorial) or

You can make a pear. If you want, you can make this:
or this:
Or you can buy some of the creations she's made at her Etsy shop. The holidays are coming up and you are going to need gifts for your quilting and sewing friends and family. Jill's tutorials are free, her instructions are clear and best of all, they are full of encouragement. I just feel better after I read them. Like "Yes--I CAN make an embroidered pincushion"!!

I am going to go in search of the little 1/2 inch ruler that Lori Holt is showing for Row 5 of her Row Along quilt. I've seen them over the years but never thought I needed one til now. I'm also going to buy some embroidery thread and beads for my pin cushion. Hope you have a wonderful Thursday! Cheery wave from Bev
