Cutting and Sewing and Quilting-Oh My....

Good morning! I feel like I'm on the yellow brick road (I saw Wizard of Oz last night). Did you know that was written as a commentary on the political system? Oz is the chemical symbol for gold. The Wizard represents politicians and government. The munchkins are the people of the USA. There are 15 Oz books in the series. I thought that was sort of interesting. Anyway, I've been cutting fabrics. A blogging friend ask me to cut a bundle of orange fat quarters for her and so I cut several and have one left. There are 12 fat quarters for a total of 3 yards for $21.50 plus shipping. For that price, I'm not ironing every fat quarter.

Sorry for the bad photo. I just don't have any skills. There is sun today and I STILL can't get a good photo. If you are interested, please email me at bev@44thstreetfabric.com. I haven't been getting all the comments people have left me. That's why I started doing comment moderation again and it still hasn't helped.

I've been sewing on some projects that people have asked me to make and I'm still trying to get the yellow basket quilt finished. I had to put it up in frustration. Now I've decided that I have to quilt the inside border because it looks strange so I've been marking it. This is the dumbest thing I've ever done and I just keep going with it. Don't ask me why. See that inner border...it's going to get quilted. The outer border now has double lines. In.san.it.y!

Well, I'm off to work. Sunny and no rain! Woo Hoo! Have a great Thursday! The weekend is almost here! XO from Bev
