It has houses, a barn, a school and a church. It also has trees, mountains, a flag and a sun block. I love it. It was a 6 part series in McCalls Quilting magazine. Well, of course, I bought the magazine and forgot all about it. I just wanted to show you this awesome quilt and let you know that McCalls is still selling the magazine. You can buy it online or print the digital issue online that has the entire pattern. It's just $3.00. I know it's not "modern" but I thought there might be someone who would like a fun sampler quilt that celebrates our country. One fun thing about the magazine is that there are tons of photos of quilts made from this pattern that readers made. You can get the pattern or the magazine HERE. Just thought I'd share that if anyone is interested.
Not much going on here today. It's going to be 104 outside. The dogs and I are just going to stay around the house. I'm still fussing with the sashing on my Oklahoma Beauty quilt. I swear, every decision is monumental. I think that's because I spent so much time making the blocks. I don't want to mess it up at this point. I might "just do it" and stop fussing. Don't even talk to me about the border....I'll be glad to finish this one! Well, have a great Sunday! Stay cool! Cheery wave! Bev

Charlie is so adorable! I like that quilt, I like the old fashioned ones the best!
Wow that is a beautiful quilt. Are you going to make it?
what a great quilt, maybe one day I will tackle something like this, my list is so long of things I want to do. Have just been told about the moda building blocks quilt and that has been added to the to do list! Have found I can buy the pattern due out at end of august, hope someone will have it made up at the quilt show next month
