A Snow Lady in July

Eeek! The last Friday in July! I can't believe it's almost over! My last post for the Christmas in July group we have going here in Oklahoma City (where the temps are in the 100's) is my little Snow Lady wallhanging. I found tiny, tiny buttons for her jacket and eyes and tiny bells for the tree she's holding. Someday I'll show you my button stash. It's almost as big as my fabric stash.

I also thought I'd show you a pillow I designed. Both of these were made for shop samples. I think it's so much fun to sew winter-themed items in July.

Yesterday I watched Holiday Inn with the famous White Christmas song. That song just gets more beautiful. Here's the quilted tree skirt I made...you can't see it very well in this photo but you get the idea:
What are you working on this July? Any holiday items? Well, I'm off to work. Hope you enjoy your Friday and have a wonderful weekend! XO and cheery wave from Bev

Oh, look at all your fun projects. Love the bright colors of your snow-lady. I love to watch Holiday movies when I am not rushing around for Christmas. After the long winter we had, I am not thinking anything about snow! Good for you to be ready!

Beautiful work Bev! Love that tree skirt. Do you do samples for a quilt shop?

Have a great day!
