Good grief...I'm going to have to buy lightbulbs!

I'm getting so old...sigh... This is a long story for not much but my sewing room/office/studio used to be two bedrooms. The wall between was taken out and it was made into one big room. I have my cutting table on one end, my computer and tv in the middle and my sewing machine in the other end. Last night the lightbulb in my cutting table area was burned out. I cut out this block from the El's Kitchen Quilt book:
All of the blocks in the book are food related and this one is called Melon Patch. Why wouldn't I use green dots with the melon colored fabric for this block you might ask. Well, I thought it was green. That's how bad the light is down at that end of the room...sigh.... When I got to the machine and realized it, I thought what the heck and used the blue anyway. It's not a big deal but it just goes to show how much I need better lighting in the room or better eyesight! So what's on your schedule for today? I'm getting a late start but am just going to putz around. Hope your Saturday is a happy one! XO and cheery wave from Bev

It's hell getting old, isn't it?! I find I never have enough light anymore...and wearing cheaters on top of cheaters happens to me more and more these days...ARGH!!! The block is adorable, though! Wishing you a BRIGHT weekend, Bev...Tanya

Don't know how you get as much accomplished as you do! Hope you have a great weekend - even tho it is a bit chilly - at least it's not snowing!

We use LED bulbs, but honestly I don't think they work as well as the old bulbs our government outlawed. Love the blue~
