Around the Year Blocks

Last night, I was so tired because I worked at my "real job" until 9 PM that I wasn't going to sew anything. But as I walked back to my cutting table, I knocked over a UFO box with some wedges for the Around the Year quilt blocks. That inspired me to do a couple of blocks to add to what I already have done:

These are big blocks. They are so fun to do. I wish I had more time! Guess what? The Arctic air has left Oklahoma finally and it's a balmy 40 degrees today! I'm feeling much better! The ice is almost gone and I can take Charlie to the vet. They won't give him more of his medicine without doing a blood test to see if his internal organs are being affected. So, the meds he takes are $250 a month. He will die without them. So what difference does a blood test make? He can't quit taking the medicine. Wonder what it will cost for the blood test. Oh well, if I disappear from the internet, it's cause Charlie is more important than Cox Cable. Hope you guys are having a good day and it's warming up to "regular winter" where you are! XO and cheery wave from Bev

Didn't you love the sunshine today? It made me feel so much better. Hope Charlie's tests come out okay! Love the Rick rack around the edges. Very pretty.

great blocks and like the idea of ric rac around the circles. Hope the blood tests give a positive result and there is not a big hole in your pocket.
