Project Two from UFO Box One

Good morning! I've made some progress on my UFO project! I have pulled out ufo project #2. It's called Crazy Curves and it is from Elisa's Backporch Designs acrylic pattern pieces. These are for 7" finished blocks:
A while back, we sold these awesome templates in the shop (I think there are still some left) for $5.00! They sold like hotcakes! This is a quick and fun block that is super easy to cut with these heavy templates.
You can easily cut 10 layers of fabric at one time with your rotary cutter. So I sat down and cut a bunch of blocks. I think it was last summer.
I only sewed 3 or so blocks together and then, as usual, got distracted and put them in the "ufo box". So I have enough already cut to make a nice lap quilt.

This will be my second project from the boxes. Man, there are a bunch of projects in those boxes!

I got the outside border of the Red Riding Hood quilt done last night and put the binding on. I'm hand-stitching that down. I don't consider it finished but it's something that just needs a little more stitching to be finished so I'm starting the second project for the machine.

So what's up with you guys? Anything exciting planned for your Thursday? Well, I hope you have a good one! XO and cheery wave from Bev

your new piece looks very interesting, and straight into putting the pieces together, I expect you are glad they were already cut out it pays to have UFO`s and not having to start from scratch if you know what I mean
