February Giveaway

Happy Saturday! I'm going to try to finish piecing my Great Granny, Farmer's Wife and Prairie Rose quilt tops this weekend (yes, I know I was going to do it last weekend...)! So wish me luck. To those who asked, Lori Holt did a Great Granny tutorial that is awesome. To get to it, just click on the Great Granny Along button on the left side of the blog. Now, on to the February Giveaway. This month is always kind of depressing for me because it is still cold and I'm not a fan of bare tree branches and the color brown. So, how about some bright, happy fabrics?
This is Ooh La La fabric by Pillow & Maxfield for Michael Miller Fabrics. I think a yard of each (total 5 yards) will be enough to do a lot of projects and give you a good start on a quilt if that's your pleasure.
This is my favorite piece from the line but I also love this one:
Did you notice that they are the colors that I've been using all year? There are more of these prints in the shop but I couldn't give you the entire line! You only get 5 yards. You can buy some though....

To enter, just leave a comment, WITH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, on this blog post. If you are a follower or become a follower, leave a second comment and you will get 5 more chances. If you blog about the giveaway to your followers, leave another comment with the link to your blog post and you get 5 more chances. I'm sorry but if you don't leave your email address, your entry will be disqualified.

The February Giveaway starts today and ends on February 28th. I'll announce the winner on March 1st. One of the things I love about this fabric is that you can cut out the flowers and use them as appliques. They are big and fun! I think I'm going to make pillows for my patio furniture. And maybe do another Great Granny from this fabric. So maybe this will brighten your day! Hope you find some time to sew today! Good luck and cheery wave from Bev
