Calico Kitty and Giveaway Reminders!

It's Saturday! I've been working hard today trying to finish my Farmer's Wife top, my Great Granny top and my applique top. Those are my goals for the weekend. So far, I've spent lots of time cooking and eating, have taken a nap and have thought about doing the washing. I found another little quilt
My calico kitty quilt was originally made as a baby quilt. It was not given to my son and his wife because their dog got one of the baby quilts I made for a doggie bed. I know that when you give something away, you should not care how it's used HOWEVER that doesn't mean I'll keep supplying doggie beds. It was originally intended for Emily who is now 18. Someday, if she has a baby, it might go to her then. Am I bad?

Don't forget to enter our January Giveaway for 5 half yard pieces of Fly a Kite Fabrics! The last day to enter is January 31st and the winner will be announced February 1st. You can enter HERE. Also, don't forget that this is the last day to enter our giveaway for a Lori Holt Pattern:

This giveaway ends today and I'll announce the winner tomorrow. You can enter it HERE.

Hope you're having a good weekend! Cheery wave from Bev

You are not bag - great idea to save for grandbaby. My daughter's dog ate an eight inch hole in the middle of an applique quilt I made for her.

I understand, they obviously do not understand how much time, money and love go into your quilts. I love your calico kitty!

If they don't appreciate the time and effort you put into a quilt, why would you give them another? I love the kitty quilt and saving it for a grandbaby makes it even more special when it was originally made for the new mom.
