Another Great Granny and a Giveaway!

Wednesday is, in my opinion, a great day for a giveaway! First, you have to look at the Great Granny block I did yesterday. So far this year, I've been able to sew some every day. I have one more Great Granny block to make and then I can put the top together!
I know you are sick of seeing these blocks but it's been wonderful for me to put everything I'm making on the blog. It's like having a diary of my sewing projects.

So, on to the giveaway! I bought these little snowmen wallhanging patterns and this is the last one from the shop. It's not, in my opinion, a Christmas piece but a winter piece. Snowmen are appropriate all through January and February. At any rate, I love this little pattern.
Look at that fat little redbird on top! This is the Frosty Mugs pattern and was originally done in wool. It can easily be done in cotton though and is a perfect candidate for sewing machine applique. If you would like this little pattern, just leave me a comment and I'll draw a winning name on Sunday.

Happy Wednesday! Hope you find some time to sew! Cheery wave from Bev

That is a darling pattern. My mom loved snowmen, and I find myself cheered at the sight of them. If that weren't enough, the red bird brightens the scene even more.

I hope you'll continue showing your blocks. It's fun to see the subtle differences--I especially like the current block--and it's motivating for me to watch your progress.
