Happy Birthday Eric and Applique Dresden Plate Blocks

Yesterday it rained so it was a perfect day for napping. I totally forgot to post something (and do various other jobs). I did manage to rouse myself long enough to do the applique centers for the Dresden Plate blocks I have made.

Here is what they will look like on the block. I like it better than the plain block. I'm thinking that, because I have so many ufo's, I'll just do a 4 block wall hanging or baby quilt and save the rest for another project. On my next Dresden Plate quilt, I might just make the centers yellow and leave it at that.

And Happy 42nd Birthday to my son, Eric! May you have many more birthdays, Sweetheart, and may they all be happy ones! XOXO

My dear friends - Have you noticed that the world seems to be getting more and more evil and corrupt?
