Absolutely love your block!
I really think these patterns are really cute and simple enough to make them quickly. My colors are pastels but love the bright colors too.
I adore your Block #3! I usually shy away from using black, but it really shows off your applique in this block. Plus, the use of the floral fabric is just so sweet in the background! You done good!:)
Love your colors. I am so enjoying making this quilt. I also made Jacquelynne's previous BOM, so I couldn't resist this one.
What colors am I NOT using? Yours is very colorful too.

I am using pale flowery prints. Pinks, purples, greens, yellows....
I am using stash fabrics in turquoise, browns, pinks, yellows and greens. ~
What a lovely block you made! I love the little butterfly and your colors. I'm using my precious Heather Ross "Far far Away"fabrics.
have a FQ bundle with greys, blues, purples and pinks...think I am going to use that. Hope Lola is doing well. I too have older dogs...they have given us such joy that it will be hard to say goodbye when the time comes!
I am using some lovely fat quarters I have in my stash, pink, green, purple, and a few others I think that most of them are from Wallpaper Roses and some I can't remember the line!! Yes it has been a while back that I bought them!!
i would love to have the pattern, which i love , so i can make it when things slow down, thanks
I love being able to use my embroidering skills.
I want to use a variety of blues, greens and reds/pinks for my block.
I am using my Tilda stash and it is looking very fresh and pretty. I love your combinations too.
I have not made any too many other projects to finish, but plan to use reds. Love your blocks.
Love the black background how it makes it pop.
I'm going to use greens because it's going to be a gift for my mom.

Such a pretty block.
Love to use oranges and purples!
I love the fabrics in your block. I am going to use lavenders and purples in my block with maybe a pop of orange
I love your block. The colors are great. I am using my scrap pastel prints for all of the blocks. It reminds me of the different tea cups that my great-aunt would let me and my cousins use to have a tea party when I was a little girl.
Cute block! I haven't started mine yet, but I want to use Christmas colors. Thanks for sharing.
blocks looks so good, I asked about the background fabric on instagram, love it. Said I would not buy anymore fabric but feel the need to have some of this. Not sure what happened as I had not downlaoded the previous blocks but have them now, think I am going to embroider my centres
Loving the cheerful colours, I only joined cosy afternoon yesterday and an itching to embroider the blocks xx

Thank you for sharing! Love the black background. Thanks for the chance to win!
Love your block I am still trying to decide on my colors.
I love the heart on your teacup and I am using similar colors to yours that I pulled from my stash, minus the red, and mine is going to be somewhat scrappy. I have been trying to find a fabric that would work for the setting triangles and borders and had seen the Mary Engelbreit fabric you are using but I think it might have too much red in it for my blocks. I am sure I can find something at my LQS. Your black background really makes the teacup stand out I like it and had thought about using black but just decided to use it rather than the Navy color.
Yesterday I cut all my blocks out, using similar to the original colours but purple instead of the navy, a lilac instead of light pink, turquoise instead of light blue and undecided about the aqua but do not need that yet, love your background took a photo off the screen and went to my quilting shop but they did not know it. think I will embroider the centre that decision will be made today
Trust the visit to the vet went well, good that Lola had a stroll around the garden yesterday
I have pulled from my stash so mostly greens, blues & reds.
I am so slow. I'm having a hard time deciding which fabric from my stash I'm going to use.
I can't decide on my fabrics yet ... definitely will have some grey in it though and I will applique. crystalbluern at onlineok dot com
Most exciting things for me right now....just finished the NW Shop Hop and have 45 new fabrics to play with!!! So I have lots of fabric to choose from to make these cute blocks!
So cute Bev. I'm sitting this one out so far....grin.
Can't decide on my fabric, but really haven't tried too hard as there is a birthday gift (or 2) that need to be finished first!!
my colors usually are country colors like burnt reds, greens, blues, Earth tones. I started with a cream background for the stitchery
Beautiful block love the colors
I love that floral fabric - it just adds to the whimsy of the pattern.
I am at the point of printing the patterns out. I have been working on four quilts for our son's children so other future projects have been put on hold. I will no doubt use pastel colors or start diving into my 30's collection of fabrics.
I have had a crazy busy few months, so I am saving the directions until things slow down at the end of next month. That's when I'll be making this quilt, so I haven't picked out my colors yet. I love your floral fabric...such fantastic colors!
i plan to use soft pastels for a springy look.
This is a fun project and I am just getting started with it.
Bought beautiful pinks, greens and blues but I haven't started yet!
I'm using fun coffee and brown fabrics...lots of "mocha" and chocolate and coffee and tea prints... seems right for these patterns!
I am using fabrics from my stash so it is green, orange, blue and yellow with a variety of others for the appliqué.
I am using fabrics from my stash, so it will have lots of colors.
I am running slow on this project. Still haven't selected my fabric. I should get off the computer and go do that right now.
I am using pink, green and blue in my blocks.

My blocks are made up of periwinkle, deep purple, bright green, orange, yellow and pinks. Sounds crazy but I am really happy with how bright and cheery the blocks are coming out.
I haven't started yet, but I love the designs.
Looks great. Love your choice of fabrics.
Great looking block.
I'm using bright colors from my fabric stash.
Haven't chosen my colors yet but pink green and yellow will certainly be among them. I love Jacquelynnes cute little appliqués.
i haven't had a chance to start mine yet, but have a quilt retreat in Sept with the theme.... QUIL-TEA. i am going to make some blocks as door prizes as small wall hangings or maybe using the cup for a mug rug or on a tea cozy. the colors will be soft pastels.
not that i have got past some other projects i can get started on the ones i want to make for retreat!
I Love your block material choices, just beautiful,, I haven't started my blocks yet, I am thinking of using Pastels, pinks, greens and blues, with florals..will be starting it tomorrow..
I really love the colors you chose. As usual, I am running very far behind. I am leaning towards pinks and blues, but will just have to play with what turns up in my sewing room; fabric folding and finishing some other projects are high on my list also.LOL!
Thank you for sharing your blocks. It's great inspiration for the many ways that they can be done. The colors are gorgeous!I can't wait to start my BOM!
Love the bright colours of your block. Running late with my blocks :(
Your block turned out wonderful!
I am going to enter, even though Jacquelynne mentioned on her blog that you don't have to be in the block challenge to enter this giveaway. I just have too much going on and cannot participate, but if I was able to participate, I would most definitely use yellows for sunshine, oranges and greens. Something nice and bright to remind me of the sun coming up in the morning and shining on all of the flowers.
I haven't started the blocks yet so I'm not sure what colors I'll choose. But I really like your color choices....might use the same.
I'm using a variety of bright pastels...some batiks and some 30's reproduction prints.
I am one of those who is a late starter. But since you asked right now thinking about trying to use up all those fat quarters and other miscellaneous fabrics in my stash so I guess scrappy will be my look.
I think I will use 30's fabrics when I start mine. I was laughing to myself about how many people have not started yet. A real quilter has many irons in her stash.
thanks for the chance to win this giveaway
Block #3 is both pretty & versatile. I can really see myself fussy-cutting the center block.
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.
I'm doing all 3 versions of her quilt....for the applique I'm using older Thimbleberries....greens, burgundies and golds; for the pieced version I'm using the Laurel Burch cat panel in blues; and for the embroidered version I'm using pastel 30's repro prints. I just discovered her site and love it.
So cute. Thanks for the chance to win those patterns. I am loving that table runner!
I haven't started stitching yet, but I'm pulling pinks and teals
I have not started my blocks, but am inspired by the fabric choices.
I know I've shown up too late for the party - I was catching up with bloglovibase y your post and with a self satisfied sigh said, already saw that, and entered... Then as I scrolled the picture of your Cozy Afternoon block slowly very slowly came to view and I realized I *haven't* seen this one... Last week my p phone was being super slow and I got interrupted in the midst of visiting the Cozy Afternoon blogs and missed yours! And it's so stinkin cute! I love the heart on the cup!
