Hillside Houses BOM

Greetings from wet and windy Oklahoma City! Our Memorial Day holiday weekend will include more rain! Of course, we can't complain about the rain because our dangerously low water supply lakes are almost full again! I'm working on several projects to sell, as well as some BOM's that will eventually be finished to (hopefully) sell. Here's Block Two of the Hillside Houses:

I took it outside to get a photo and the wind started whipping it around...oh well. This is a fun block but I started it with solids and I find now that I don't have that many solids in my stash. I'm using the backs of some prints. These blocks are 20" x 20" so they are really big. So what are your plans this weekend? I hope it's something fun with the people you love! GO STARS! said...: Due to more rain expected this weekend, I'm hoping to get some sewing done. We do plan to go look at the lakes - most of them around us are to the overflow stage - hoping for no flooding. Also the Red River is extremely high. The temple is a peaceful place to be, it's good to see family, and it's good for my children to get worn out at the hotel pool!

An Important Personal Message

My dear friends - Have you noticed that the world seems to be getting more and more evil and corrupt? Have you ever wondered, assuming that Revelations is true, where we are time-wise and what will happen in the last days? At the bottom of this page, there is a 7 minute video that has no narration, just Bible facts about the sequence of events and where we might be.
