Hello! Now that the presents have been opened, I was able to get a photo of the tree skirt that I made for Gina's Christmas tree! She actually snatched it away before I could get a picture to show you!
It's not the best photo (it came from a cell phone). There is a lot of quilting in that tree skirt I tell ya! It's a pattern from Red Wagon, Collections One or Two (sorry, I can't remember which). I love to take their primitive patterns and do them in my favorite, bright colors. I finished cutting all the strips for Scrappy Trip Around the World Quilts and am trying to figure out how to price them. There are enough strips cut to make 20 blocks and no fabric is repeated. So that's 120 different fabrics that I cut in these 6 colors (sorry about the picture quality-it's cloudy out today). The colors I use are aqua, pink, yellow, red, green and orange.
So, I hope people want kits. If not, I'll have strips to do more scrappy trips! How are you spending the weekend? I'll be getting things ready to sell (which is fun for me). Hope you have fun things planned too! XO and cheery wave from Bev
