Help Me Celebrate 3 Years of Blogging with a Giveaway!

Wow! I've been blogging for 3 years! Through this blog I have met some amazing people and consider many of you friends, even though we haven't met face to face! That's the biggest advantage to blogging for me. I just love you guys! The disadvantage is that I see your amazing work and can't help but compare my own. I look at the fabulous quilting and designing and, for a time, it was hard for me to show anything that I made because of the comparison. I'm over that now and show everything I'm doing-lol. There are some projects of mine (if not all) that I know you must get sick of seeing! So, to celebrate and thank you, I'm having a giveaway with my favorites from the Etsy shop! First, I'm giving away a Union Jack panel from Riley Blake Designs.
It's awesome! It is one yard (36" x 44") and the flag runs the entire width and length of the yard. It's amazing for a boy's room, as the center of a medallion quilt, or for anything you can imagine! Another 2 bloggers will win their choice of these Union Jack panels. First, the red, white and blue:
Or, if you like, this colorful panel (these are my colors so I love this one):
Each panel has 12 flags! Each flag is about 9" x 11". These are great to make pillows (I add piping and they look super), to make a baby quilt, or to applique onto a t-shirt! I just sewed some on t-shirts for the teen grand-kids and left the edges raw. When they are washed, the edges look all ratty which my oldest grandson just loves. I also made dog beds for Charlie and Lola. Charlie prefers Lola's bright pinks to his traditional blues. Lola likes them both. I just put a backing on and stuffed them. I used 9 of these smaller blocks for their beds. If I had a big dog, I would have made a bed with the big Union Jack. You can make all kinds of quick gifts for the holidays with a minimum of work! So that's 3 winners total.

Just leave a comment on this blog post. That's all. Oh wait, that's NOT all. PLEASE leave your email address so that I can contact you! You might think that it's easy to find your email address but it is NOT. I've spent all kinds of time trying to contact people who won giveaways and end up really frustrated. I'll pick winners next Saturday, September 14th.

THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING GREAT BLOGGING BUDDIES! LOVE YA!!!!! XOXO and CHEERY WAVE! BEV

It's it amazing how time flies by when you are sewing and quilting and I've lot track of how long I've been blogging - maybe 6 years give-or-take... stop by and visit my blogs: westiejulep.blogspot.com - you'll never know what you'll find there! and ... katiesews4fun.blogspot.com - this is my digital 'scrapbook' of every single thing I've made - which 99% of everything has been given or donated to various causes.

All the best and good luck to all those enter your give-a-way. Katie
