I love working on Farmer's Wife blocks because they are so fast to make that I can easily do one when I don't have much time. Here are the two latest blocks:
Block Sixty-eight, Postage Stamp. The last two Farmer's Wife quilts I made, I made this block from all sorts of fabrics just jumbled together. I decided it would be fun to use the reds and pinks on this one.
Block Sixty-three, Ozark Maple Leaf. As you know, I've put together a fabric starter kit of Fat Eighths for this quilt and so far, have just used fabrics from this kit. I know that the blocks don't seem to go together but when I get a few more finished, I'll do a collage of them together so you can see. A fast, fun quilt. I also completed the blocks for the Austin Bluebird BOM. That's the quilt from Minick and Simpson. I'm making sister quilts--one from the fabric they send and one from my stash fabric. These are big blocks so I need sunshine to take photos and it's raining here today (thank Goodness)!!! So what are you guys working on this week? It's back to my pesky "real job" for me. I still have to make the Aurifil Challenge block for the month of September. Anyone else making that quilt? Well, take care everyone! XO and cheery wave from Bev

I love how you made the postage stamp block. Your choice of colors always makes me smile. I am working on Grandbaby number threes quilt.
Good Morning Bev! Beautiful quilt squares as always. Your colors are always so cheerful and bright. We're having a wonderful rain also. We really needed it.
Have a great day!

These are the kind of chores no one complains about - LOVE these! Happy creative Tuesday, Bev...Tanya
Sweety and I were just discussing the rain and how we are sick of it! Normally the grass is dead by now and we like it that way. This mowing twice a week is for spring when we'll do any yard work as long as it doesn't include snow. Looking forward to seeing all your block in a collage. Great colors!
blocks looking good, my book has been sent out so will be with me soon though it dos not mention a DVD and when I saw it at a show there was no DVD.
