I finished a quilt! And don't forget the GIVEWAY!

So, you're not going to believe it but I actually FINISHED A QUILT! Here it is:
This picture doesn't show the quilting but this one, when it was in progress, does:
Here's the back while it was still in progress:

The blocks were paper pieced and it was a lot of fun to do. It's actually 8" by 8" and is for a dollhouse bed. Here's some scale....the little quilt with a small Solo cup:
So, I haven't made a tiny quilt before and, although I split the batting in half (which was not pretty...wow), it was still pretty stiff. The recipient whose doll house I made it for may have to pin it down on the sides. It's pretty stiff. I have since been told that I should have used flannel for the batting. I'll do that next time...if there IS a next time! Guess she can use it as a pot holder if it doesn't work on the bed-lol. I also didn't count on how much volume all the little seams in those blocks created. There are a LOT of little seams....
Today is the last day to enter Karen's Giveaway for FREE classes on Craftsy to make the first 60 blocks in the Farmer's Wife quilt using quick cutting methods instead of all the little templates! The winner will be announced ON MY BLOG tomorrow! You can enter the Farmer's Wife Giveaway HERE. Have a wonderful Sunday guys! Love ya! XO and cheery wave from Bev

I personally think that is the most gorgeous quilt you have ever made! Of course, I'm a little prejudiced! Thank you again for one of my most favorite treasures. You are a sweetheart!

congrats on your quilt finish Bev, now I expect to see the Oklahoma one complete soon, no using the farmers wife quilt as an excuse either!! Such a tiny quilt must have been so fiddly to make I am so impressed. Was tempted with the farmers wife but have so much on the go and such a ong list of things I want to do have decided enough is enough
