Lady Liberty blocks all finished and Aurfil BOM block for March too!

Woo Hoo! This is the last block for the Lady Liberty quilt! That's 36 blocks. Now I just have to find a place to lay them out and then stitch them up! In the mean time, I'll be working on the border.
I used my Doxie fabric that I save to add a little in every quilt that has black and white fabric. I don't know of any place where this fabric is still available to buy. I say that because people always write to me to see where they can get it. I'm almost out and so wish I had kept more for myself. Today I also did Block 3 of the Aurifil BOM.

It's fast and easy and will be a pretty quilt when done. Here are the first 3 blocks.

I wanted to do something kind of different so used pink for the background. What's up for you this Saturday? We're all waiting for the next round of freezing weather. The high temp tomorrow is going to be 9 degrees. What will happen to the buds on the trees and rose bushes? I know, March is rough but I don't remember the Arctic blast thing before. Well, I'm off to play! Have a great day! XO and cheery wave from Bev

It's pouring rain in the Phoenix area, Bev, but it's 67 degrees outside. Sorry!

I just found the Aurifil BOM and love yours with the pink background. I especially love the March block. Do you paper piece your Lady Liberty blocks? They are all so pretty and the points and curves are so perfect. Beautiful work.

really looking forward to seeing the quilt complete, it is hard to picture it all together. Like the new blocks too, you are very busy not sure where you find the time as you are working hard too, it is good to be retired! problem is I am getting old and sometimes rather confused and forgetful

Ahh, more cuteness! I've been searching for that dachshund print for a year! If you trip across some as you shop would you think of me?
