Tutorial for Christmas Stockings from old jeans!

I have been working so haven't had time to sew but I've been looking for stocking patterns to do a Christmas stocking for Dylan. I found this amazing stocking tutorial that I won't be using for Dylan but it is so cute that I wanted to share it with you:
How cute is this? Well, the talented quilter who offers the free tutorial for this stocking is Lynn at Nebraska Views blog. You can find the directions for making this stocking HERE. I just love it and love the fact that you can use the decorative stitches on your machine. Thanks Lynn!

Don't forget to enter our giveaway for a free El's Kitchen pattern book by Eleanor Burns! Drawing will be on December 15th. Have a great Wednesday! XO and cheery wave from Bev

Thanks for the stocking link, all my skinny girl jeans I've been holding onto might find a purpose, doesn't look like I'll be getting any other use out of them!

This is so cute!! Just like the previous comment said: great for repurposing jeans that don't fit you any more. The plaid fabric goes really well with it. Thanks for sharing!

good way of using up old denim. I was hoping to make a quilt, one daughter had 4 pairs that are now too large so I begged for them but older daughter has put weight on and she was the lucky one. Hoping she will let me have hers that are now too small but think she hopes to lose weight again, medication she blames! of course it has nothing to do with chocolate
