The Farmers Wife Saga Continues and Happy Birthday Jason!

Good morning! Last night I finally stitched up the last border block for the Farmers Wife Quilt. I just made them easy so that I could get them done and trimmed to the correct size because they are the cornerstones of the border.
Tonight or tomorrow I plan to cut the border strips and piece the border. Here's the actual quilt:
So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to use a yellow solid with the cornerstone blocks and I'm going to do some trapunto. I'm going to use Ricky Tims method. I love trapunto (by machine, of course) but haven't done any in a long time. Because of the requests I received when I first got this idea, I'm going to take photos along the way and show you how it goes. Nothing fancy, just a little design to make the quilting pretty. I have so much sewing I should be doing. I almost have the Row Along quilt put together and just need to border several other tops.... Part of the problem I have is that I have so much work to do in my "real job" that I'm working 6 days a week. At the end of the day, I'm pretty tired. Today, for example, I'm writing about men's socks and water pumps for Coy ponds and perfume.
And before I forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON! He's my youngest and he's in his 40's now. Here we are on his 3rd birthday in the 70's. Look at that hair! You can see him grown up with his own little girl if you look at a few posts back. Where does the time go? Well, have a great day! Hope you find some time to sew! Cheery wave from Bev

Ooh, I spy some "Sweetest Thing" fabric :-)
Your quilt is beautiful as always! I was hoping to work on my Row Along quilt today too, but it's now 4pm already and I haven't got there yet :-(
Have a happy weekend, Bev.

Love the quilt, but your quilts are always beautiful. Your hair looks like mine did in the late 60's. As a matter of fact I still wear a bob now because it's the best cut for my thick hair.
Happy Birthday Jason!

That quilt top is so pretty. So cheerful. Happy birthday to your son. How can a 29 year old Mom have a son that age?
