First, the pattern for May! And (this is so creative) see the little bees? The iron-on bees are in the pattern so that when you have finished, you can iron the little bees onto the embroidery piece!
This one is a toss-up for my favorite! The July pattern with a little flag to iron on. It would be so much fun to have a special place in your home to a little quilt for every month! Aren't they sweet? And if you don't know how to do embroidery, there are instructions and illustrations in the patterns. Kathy makes it really easy to learn. And if these colors are not your favorites, you can do these little quilts in any colors. I just love them!
AND, when you enter this giveaway, I'll give you an EXTRA entry to our April Giveaway for tone-on-tone dot fabrics! Exciting, right?
To enter, just visit Kathy's new website and look around! You can get there by clicking HERE. Kathy has patterns, fabric and she's written a new book that will be out in May called Simply Red. It has applique and embroidery and the pattern for an amazing quilt. When you've looked around, just pop back here and leave a comment telling me what you liked best on Kathy's new website. You can get an extra entry by tweeting about this giveaway and putting the link in a comment. And you get 5 extra entries for a Facebook post and/or blogging about the giveaway. If you are a follower, you get an extra entry! International entries are okay! Be sure to add your email address to your entry or it won't count-I just don't have time to track you down!
The Kathy Schmitz Pattern Giveaway #1 will end April 28th and I'll announce the winner April 29th. Then we will do a giveaway for the patterns for the next 3 months! Fun!
So enjoy Kathy's new website! I love her gorgeous work and can't wait to make some of these little embroidery/quilts! Cheery wave from Bev
