Country Threads Quilt Along - April

Last night I stitched the Country Threads 12" block for April. Each month has at least 2 blocks - one 6" and one 12". They have all been simple, classic block patterns. Here's the 12" block for April.
I decided to do this BOM in black, white and red just to get away from the bright, spring-like colors I've been using for the last year. I have no idea what I'll do with it but I love making the blocks. Here's the finished quilt that Country Threads shows:
Looking at all the blocks I've finished, I notice that I've done all the 12" blocks in black and white and only added reds in the 6" blocks. Hummm. It's a nice break from the colors I usually use. If you want to download these patterns, they are free HERE.

Nothing else going on here. It's rained every day since Tuesday and we really needed it. Unfortunately, it's also been cold again. In my "real job" I'm writing about bathing suits and tropical vacations. All my kids went (separately) on vacations to tropical places for Easter. Here's Dylan enjoying her tropical vacation egg hunt:

I understand that there was a bit of an issue when the resort ran out of pink bunny ears and she had to take blue ones but generally, the egg hunt was a big success. And I just thought I'd mention, Jason did assure me that the pink on her cheeks is pink zinc oxide...not a sunburn. Well, hope you have a good day! Cheery wave from Bev

What a cute bunny! :-) Your Country Threads BOM is going to be stunning in the B/W/R combo!
