Bee in my Bonnet Row Along quilt is together...Almost

Good morning! I got my Row Along quilt rows sewn together! I don't have the border added yet but here's the quilt without the borders:

It's hard to get a photo of the quilt because I have so much stuff in my sewing room. Here's the top of the quilt:
and here's the bottom of the quilt:
I really enjoyed doing this quilt and am trying to decide what color to make the border. Many of the people in the Row Along Flickr group have done a pieced border but I think that takes away some from the quilt center. Lori Holt, who designed this pattern, did a green gingham border. It looks really good. So I'm trying to decide. I didn't get anything done on the Farmer's Wife quilt top this weekend because I spent Saturday with family and worked on Sunday.

Be sure to enter our giveaways. You can enter the giveaway for Kathy Schmitz patterns HERE and our April Giveaway for fabrics HERE. Have a great day! Cheery wave from Bev

It would look cool if you can find a reverse polka dot that matches your background, as solid color with tiny white polka dots. :)

Oh my, I really like your quilt top- so bright and cheerful. I do agree that a pieced border would take away from the blocks. I usually like a TOT to frame a busy center.

WOW, Looks great! I think a Green border would frame it well. Have fun getting it all finished.

Lovely quilt. Any of colours would look great as the border,. The border goes together very quickly, and, I think, frames it beautifully. Looking forward to seeing this with your chosen border.
