There's some aqua:
Some yellow:
and some orangie/pinkie:
I've used these in the Row Along quilt, in the Oklahoma Beauty quilt and in other quilts I've been making. I like mixing them with other fabrics. Just leave me a comment telling me how you would use batiks or telling me why you don't like batiks. Don't forget to leave your email address so that I can find you if you win!
I'll choose a winner on the 22nd of March which is Charlie's "birthday" or the day he came to live with me. He was about 2 at the time so he will be approximately 14 because I got him in 2001. I took this pic so you can see how great he still looks. I didn't realize how ready for the groomer he is... He's still a dapper guy, alert and ready to chase Squirrely Joe, his backyard nemesis.
Have a great Thursday! Cheery wave from Bev

I haven't used Batiks, but would love to give them a try.
I have been saving a bunch of different batiks for a "batik quilt" so that is what I will do these fabrics. Thanks for another great giveaway.
Happy Birthday Charlie -- looking good at 14. I love using batik fabric and never exclude it regardless of what it's going with. My favorite thing I am using batik with right now is a block of the month I am doing at my LQS where the blocks are all different flowers and when we finish there will be 18 beautiful flowers.

I love batiks....maybe a bedrunner?
I love using batiks in quilts and purses. They are my absolute favorite fabrics. Thanks for the generous giveaway, and for sharing your inspiring blog. Charlie is so cute!
I love Charlie's look, how sweet he must be does he give good doggie kisses? I've never used batik fabrics that I know of. They sure do bring the spring feeling out.

Beautiful fabrics! I love batiks and think these would be a great start for a bright quilt for spring and summer. I would combine them with other fabrics to make it scrappy. Fun!
How does one enter...cute Shitzo or is it a Lasa?
Hope Charlie has a very happy birthday. Love your give away. The colors would work great in a quilt I am planning for one of my granddaughters.
I love using batiks for table runners. So easy to work with and they just light up a room.
Happy Homecoming Day to Charlie and to you! (a wee bit early)
I'm a new quilter. To date I have yet to use them in a project. But I did recently buy my first piece of Batik and am exicted and looking farward to buying more and useign it. All these new fabrics are fabulous.I am so addicted t them..The fabric world is not the same as it used to be for regular garment sewing. conn_and_vans_mom)at)yahoo(dot)com
I love batiks and those sure are pretty. I need to make a baby quilt so might use them in that but they sure would be pretty for a spring bag as well.. hope I win and thanks for the chance.
I really like batiks. I specially like them if the colors are warm and earthy, like the orange one. They'll be good for some patchwork pouches.
Hi happy birthday Charlie our little girl will be 13 in September.
I love batiks because you can get different color from one fabric.

Very spring like. I haven't worked with these yet but would like to try them. I would have to look thru ny quilt books for a pattern. 3bakergirlsgo@gmail.com

Bev - The Batiks are so pretty. I think they are as easy to use as a solid color since they don't have a distinct pattern.
Happy Birthday to Charlie!! He looks great for his age. It must be the excellent care he receives.

I'm not certain how I would use them, but I would use them. I love batiks!

Happy Birthday to CHarlie, he looks like he is ready to chase that squirrel in his cool coat. My dog had a plaid coat and when she wore it, she felt fierce, she would bark at everything! It was very funny.
I can see some wallets/purses coming out of these :)
I could make a really pretty art quilt or a pillow. So pretty... Charlie is a cutie. I have a peke/shitzu mix who thinks she is the boss of all the other dogs. Love my "grumpy old lady"(she's 12). lol Thanks for the giveaway. vickise at gmail dot com
I have only used batiks as a baby carrier wrap.
I love batiks and use them a lot. I first used them when I made an overnight bag with a thousand pieces. Since you can't tell front from back on the fabric it made it a lot easier to assemble with one less thing to think about. Since then I have made several quilts, a jacket and a few table runners.
I need something like this to help me dive into spring! Great giveaway!
So pretty!! Thanks for the chance to win. Happy birthday Charlie.
he looks like my sisters dogs she has 4 all girls. thanks for the giveaway
I love using batiks in quilts, just like any other fabric, especially strip quilts cause they don't unravel as much. Thanks for the giveaway :)
batiks are fun in quilts. So much variety in one piece of fabric. Thanks for chance to win.
I have been hoarding, I mean saving batiks for a quilt for myself. I see so may beautiful quilts in blog world made with batiks. jillfroelich@yahoo.com
Beautiful fabrics!!
Happy Birthday Charlie.
I would like to make a small wall hanging celebrating spring. Those colors are just perfect for it.

I've made several quilts using just batiks in the top. I prefer not to use a batik in the backing if the top is all batiks. My first one came out a little stiff from the dryer, so I washed it again with a bit of fabric softener, and it came out perfectly. Thanks for the great giveaway.
I used batiks for a table topper, a purse, a quilt, placemats, potholders, coasters, etc. I LOVE batiks. Thank you for a terrific giveaway!
I dont have any batiks in my stash!Happy Birthday to sweet Charlie!
I have just recently try started using batik, and I am hooked. I first chose some for their brightness and vibrancy of colour. I am currently collecting batik for my first all- batik quilt.

I have some batiks in my cupboard and I'm trying to make a bag for the summer. And of course I would do the same with these fabrics too.
Thank you!

I love to use batiks as the *solids* against busy prints. especially if I can't get the exact match on a color? a batik is very forgiving while still being somewhat *solid*... and used in bigger pieces like raggedy quilts, the movement in the coloring is gorgeous.

I love batiks, they make quilts so bright and happy. I would so love to win, thanks for the giveaway!
Charlie you don't look a day over 10(hoping the flattery will get me points) I just want the fabric, I've no idea what I'd do with it, what can I say I'm a quilter, I see fabric and I need it...LOL
Charlie you don't look a day over 10(hoping flattery will help me win). I've no idea what I would do with it, I'm a quilter, I see fabric and I want it...kinda like a dog chasing a car..what will they do with it if they catch it?
I would love to make a side table top...batiks are always so vibrant and colourful...they can brighten up any corner of the house in whatever form they may be made into. Thanks for the giveaway.
Wishing you a great weekend of stitching up more beauties

I am collecting batiks for a pattern I saw in a magazine last summer. These would make wonderful additions! Birthday greetings to Charlie!
These batiks would be beautiful in a little wallhanging. I see pretty daffodils, tulips, hyacinth, and crocus with a bright blue sky.
I have fallen in love with batiks! I love the way using a batiks turned favorite blocks modern and edgy!

I love batiks, and these are so Springy! I use batiks in quilts, but this time of year I like to make table runners in Spring colors, and applique flowers.
Those colors are beautiful. Have to think about how I would use them, wouldn't want them to go to waste. Thanks for the chance to win. Love to read your blog and see what you are up to.
Yummy colors! I love how Edyta Sitar combines batiks with civil war reproductions in her quilts -
HI! I HAVE USED A FEW IN CITRUS SHADES! THANKS FOR SHARING!

Perfect for Easter colors. Charlie looks great, I just love my ol friend! She never complains and keeps my feet warm! He looks like a happy guy!
I love batiks...the subtle color variations and such interest to a quilt. They are so much prettier than solids and yet you can still show off your hand-quilting which tends to get lost in a pattern.
I like to use batiks in any sort of quilted project but I generally don't like to mix them with other fabrics unless the other fabrics are solids.
These are beautiful! I have not used batiks, yet. I am looking forward to working with them. These look very quilty, a lap quilt perhaps...
I would love to incorporate these fabrics into a baby quilt for my soon to be grandaughter! Thank you for doing this!
Peggy at crbeaulieu@comcast.net
I love working with batik fabrics. They are wonderful for blending fabrics together because of all the colors and design in each piece. They are so beautiful.
I think a skirt would look wonderful with these fabrics and maybe the multi colored one could be a purse or a clutch.
My email is msmauclair@gmail.com!
I didn't like batiks at all, nor the mix of colors in 1 fabric, nor the feeling.
Untill I was at a quiltshow with lots of shops and for the first time I saw (and felt)batiks so beautiful, it almost made me drool LOL.
Now I've already collected several batiks for a bed quilt.
The colors shown here are gorgious. Thank you for a chance to win.

I love Charlie, and I bet he would love my Maggie! I also love those batiks!!
I love batiks. These fabrics I would use in a summerquilt.
I have recently discovered the versatility of batiks and I would use these to make some drawstring bags for my nieces. Thanks for the chance.
Love those fabrics. Thanks for the chance to win.
Would love to win and try batiks. Charlie certainly doesnt look his age, what is his secret? Lol babscorbitt@gmail.com
