Feeling Better so Made a Spool Block

Well, I'm feeling better and might survive. My doctor gave me more antibiotic and did a little minor surgery on my jaw/gums. It was a real owie and I was a big baby about it. I need a lot of dental work but I don't have dental insurance or the money to pay for the enormous bill it would generate. So we will see. At any rate, I'm feeling better. Thanks to everyone who sent me good wishes and prayers. Keep that up, will ya? I can always use those!

I did one more corner border block for the Farmers Wife quilt:
It just seems right to have a spool block in that quilt. When I get one more made, I'll be able to start the border. I'm going to use the Ricky Tims technique for marking and quilting and I'm going to try to take photos and share the process with you guys. I don't know how it will go but it's always fun to try new techniques.

Well, guess I'll get back to work. I'm really behind now. It's sort of become the story of my life. Hope you are all well and that you find a lot of time to sew and have fun! Cheery wave from Bev

Good to read you're feeling a bit better, and promise to send some prayers your way so you're ALL better soon :-)
Sweet block, I love the blue fabric - what is it?
Take care of you,
Hugs xx

I don't know how to answer you Gilly Girl through Blogger so the blue fabric is Polka Dot Stitches by Lori Holt. We sold 2 bolts of it in like a week. Thanks for the prayers and good wishes...you are a little doll! xo

I know what you mean about the dental work, me too. I have a friend who goes to the dental college for her work since it is cheaper, I should check into that.
