Plain Old Patchwork

I'm very busy at work these days and so my cable went out...sigh. However, it gave me a chance to clean out a closet in my sewing room. The first thing I took off the top shelf was a patchwork baby quilt that was almost finished but not quite. So I finished the quilt and did no more cleaning. None. Here's the little quilt:
Not heavy quilting but man, I need to do more to get back my mad machine quilting skills!
It will puff up and fill in after washing. It's just a little "put it on the floor and let the baby roll around on it" quilt. Charlie tried to claim it so I guess I'm going to make him one of his own...but not with so much white...he's a "real boy" with dirt dispersal as one of his mad skills. Have a great Wednesday! Hope you find some time to sew! Cheery wave! Bev

It's fab! No wonder Charlie has his eye on it. I love just plain, simple squares and quilting, and I recognize some of the lovely Tanya Whelan fabrics too. Very pretty!
Happy sewing,
xx

This is so adorable! I can't believe how you make this look so easy. Each quilt feels so homey and your color choices make me smile!
