Oklahoma Beauty Block 4 Finished

Tuesday is here! My deadline day at my "real job". I did get another Oklahoma Beauty block finished. They are addictive. I know the colors are crazy bright but...
here's my theory and it's worked for me in the past. I've had several emails from people wanting to know how I choose fabrics. I pick a main fabric and pull colors from it (in this case, fabrics from the February Blog Giveaway fabric group). When I get a big stack of fabrics in those colors, I just keep pulling from them. The theory is that, when they are put together in final form, they will look great. I'm a "medium" person and so I have to struggle to make myself do light and dark. It's much easier with this method. How do you choose fabrics for your projects? I would love to know! Well, off to work...have a great day! Hope you find some time for sewing! Cheery wave from Bev

I'm loving these blocks and colors. I don't think they are to bright or wild or anything other than perfect! keep up the great work.

I love the bright fabrics! I'm trying to use up my stash before buying new fabric, so I'm limited and do not have many brights.

Oh Bev! This is GORGEOUS! I would have been too chicken to use these colors, so I guess I need to rethink my use of "safe" colors. Love it!!
