Quilt Show!

Good Tuesday morning! Today's my copy writing deadline day and I have 16 more assignments to do....sigh.... At least they are all about Ralph Lauren products and not about fish pond algae inhibitors like yesterday's assignments. Thanks to everyone who was kind enough to leave a comment about the patterns yesterday! It was very instructive. I really appreciate your taking the time to write to me!

So today I thought I would show you the work of my friend, Karen Walker. She is an amazing longarm machine quilter. It's hard for me to think about sending a quilt to someone else and have them inject their personality into my quilt. But Karen is so talented that I am VERY excited to have her quilt something of mine. Just take a look at some examples of her machine quilting for her customers. These aren't my quilts. This first quilt is silk...very hard to quilt on but she did a fabulous job!
Here are some other examples of her quilting:

These are just a few examples of her work. Her prices are very reasonable too! AND she is a VERY nice person. So there you go. Maybe I can quit just making small quilts because I just don't have the room or strength to wrestle big quilts. I know that a lot of people do wonderful quilting on longarm machines and that lots of you just automatically send off your tops when you finish them up but it's a new experience for me. Karen makes it easy! You can contact Karen through her blog HERE. She has lots of free tutorials on her blog and, of course, quilting inspiration!

Hope you have time to visit Karen! Have a great Tuesday! Hope you find some time to sew. Cheery wave! Bev
