Good morning! It's time for our January giveaway! I decided to do a giveaway for fabric that reminds me of spring. I start thinking about spring as soon as the holidays are over. Don't I want to enjoy the magic of the 3 coldest months of the year? Nope...I want to see new flowers and green grass. So, knowing that, as quilters, we always live ahead of the season in our quilting projects, I decided to give away a combo of Fly A Kite fabrics by October Afternoon for Riley Blake Designs. I think it's so adorable.
I'm sorry I can't get a better photo of this fabric but is has lots of pink and yellow with aqua in the main fabric with the children and dogs and a great art deco brown. There's a stripe with strawberries and flowers and some pink gingham.
The January Giveaway is for one-half (1/2) yard each of the fabrics shown for a total of 2 and 1/2 yards of Fly A Kite fabrics. To enter, just leave a comment WITH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS. In past giveaways, we have drawn a name with no email and it was disqualified. It is so hard to find an email contact for some people that I just don't have time to search. For an additional 5 entries, become a follower of the blog (following by email does not count) or just let me know you are a follower.
Here's a photo of an adorable pincushion made from this fabric that is a free pattern from Riley Blake Designs. For those of you who don't know, Riley Blake Designs has a free pincushion pattern on their blog every Friday afternoon. This is NOT part of the giveaway...I just wanted to show you a cute project made with this fabric.
