Einstein's Fear Realized...

Ahhhh, Saturday! I've come to terms with spending the money on a new set of tires....bye money...bye... I'm going to sew all day! On my agenda is piecing the rest of Peri's quilt:
I think that the only way I'm going to manage quilting it is to quilt it in 3 or 4 sections and then put them together. I just don't have the room or the energy to wrestle with the entire queen size quilt. I love these colors:
that were inspired by this photo:
from Pinterest. Sadly, I don't know who took this photo but it has influenced my quilt color choices for the last year. What does this have to do with Einstein, you ask? Well, I also found this on Pinterest....Einstein's fear realized...  In case you can't read it, the quote from Albert Einstein is: "I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots".

Have a great Saturday! Don't forget to enter our giveaways! The links are HERE for the wallhanging pattern and HERE for the free fabrics. Hope you find some time to sew today! Cheery wave from Bev

This makes me laugh, for there is a place in upstate NY, Grahamsville to be exact where they have the Little World's Fair. What I love the most about the Grahamsville Fair is there is no cell phone service there, and you will see everyone mingling, the children playing, rolling down the hill into the leaves...there is no loud, rude chatter on the phone, no texting while not listening to the conversation, PEOPLE JUST SITTING ON PARK BENCHES LOOKING AT EACH OTHER AND TALKING AND LAUGHING...blah blah blah...Yes, there comes a time to put down the gadgets and look someone in the eye, write a letter and send it in the mail...that is AFTER you are done blog hoppin:) HAVE FUN...HOPE YOU'LL VISIT ME, TOO!

Love your colors--so happy (especially with the glum weather here)! Einstein was right--it is pretty awful that no one talks to anyone--except on the phone.

I'm popping over from Vicki's Grow Your Blog Party to say hello. That is one bold and beautiful quilt for sure. Technology is good when it is used correctly, but there are definitely a whole of idiots out there now -- especially the ones who drive and chat or text. Really, really burns me up. Have a great day!
