Good Monday morning! We are praying for everyone in the path of Hurricane Sandy and that snow storm thing behind it! May you and your homes be safe.
Yesterday I finished Row 5 of Lori Holt's Row Along quilt. It is a tiny row of flying geese blocks.
It's not my favorite. That's a lot of work for a teeny, tiny row. It's cute but I like the bigger blocks personally.
I also got some FW blocks cut out. I'm starting over with a fat quarter pack from the Sweetest Thing line.
It has a lot lighter colors and I can use white. I'll mix some other light prints with it. I just didn't like my other FW blocks. I'll do a little wall hanging from them but I don't want to do 111 blocks for a quilt that I'm not liking the look of. I'll stitch some up and see if I like them better. I haven't seen any made from this line.
Well, back to work for me. I'm writing about Christmas decorations today for Belk. They have some really beautiful items. Fun to write for! Cheery wave from Bev!

I absolutely love your rows for the quilt along and your choice for the new FW (?) is my favorite line of fabric right now. I haven't let myself buy it yet but I LOVE it!
Bev this is just going to be gorgeous - I love the fabrics you're using! blessings, marlene

Beautiful fabric! Your rows are pretty cute too! Have a happy week!
I love your rows...I agree with you on the Row 5, just so tiny...it was time consuming to make...but it is cute.
Hi Bev...your rows are looking so wonderful!
I'm sorry that you did not enjoy October's flying geese:)
