Good Wednesday morning! I finally took photos of my Row 3 for Lori Holt's Row Along Quilt Group. It was cloudy out when I took pictures and this was the best I could do. The Flikr group for this quilt along is amazing. I can never get over how much difference fabric choice can make! We are on Row 3 and it's not too late to join us!
This little quilt is so easy and fast that I'm thinking of making two more before we get too far from different fabrics for Eric's 3 girls. There are 2 weeks between rows so there is plenty of time to stitch. My rows are not trimmed yet because I have learned from experience, for me, that it's better to trim at the end! That way I can fudge if I have to.

You can sure see what the Oklahoma drouth has done to the yard. We had bans against watering at all during August. It thundered a lot last night but no rain! Just Charlie crawling all over me and panting because he is so afraid of storms. It has to be from his past...being abandoned and tied up in someone's back yard. He might have been out in a bad storm. How could someone do that? Uggg.

Well, I've got to start working on my "real job". For those who asked, I do SEO writing for websites. My deadline is always on Tuesday so I'm starting a new work week today. It pays the bills but does get in the way of my sewing. If you aren't already, come start the Row Along with us! It's so much fun! Have a great Wednesday! Cheery wave from Bev

...by the way, people (if you can call them that) that leave defenseless fur babies out in extreme weather of any kind need to be made targets for a shooting range. Just sayin'....

Just curious what is SEO writing? I have three dogs, 1 big and 2 small and they are all afraid of storms usually a couple hours before they get here. My Vet says it is there high frequency hearing that they know a storm is coming!

My outside dog is over a 100 lbs, has a house and a hiding spot on the porch for storms. He is a never lived inside but was brought in once during a snowstorm. He was very unhappy about it. He is not tide up and has free range of our property. He pretty much lives on the porch. He also has several old blankets and a quilt. Some big dogs perfer to live outdoors. He is an old "fox hound" someone dumped in the cemetary.

For Lisa: SEO means "search engine optimization". It's what makes your blog or website or individual entry show up in Google and other search engines. There are ways to write that get your information ahead of others information. I write for some large websites. Today I'm writing about bridal accessories and Halloween costumes. I never know what they want to sell. Hope that answers your question! And my Charlie is a shih tzu so he's not a yard dog. He's a "delicate flower" heh heh. Thanks for commenting! Hope to "talk" to you again soon! Cheery wave!
