A New Toy!

Good Tuesday morning! Thanks to everyone for the kind comments about my Dresden Plate quilt. Now I'm going to work on a quilt for my granddaughter's bed. She likes these blocks. I'm going to have to make 110 of them for the size quilt she needs so I'll be working on those for a while.
I had to show you the new tool (toy) I got! It's a Rowenta Focus DW5090! I would only be more excited it I had a new Canon Rebel (I'm working on that). This iron has a zillion steam holes and a pointy nose with steam holes in the nose and an extra wide base. I have always hated irons and have 4 of them that I've bought because they just don't work right. I saw this iron blogged about and just bit the bullet and bought it. I'm so glad I did. It wasn't all that expensive and it works like a dream...like a dream I tell ya! I found it on eBay for $10 less than any store and shipping was free!

Sorry the photo has a yellow cast. I've tried a bunch of different editing programs and can't seem to overcome the yellow in my photos. If anyone knows the secret of that, I'd love to know! At any rate, I love my new iron and my blogger friends! Hope you all have a great Tuesday! It's great seeing all the amazing photos you put on your blogs! Don't forget to enter the AUGUST GIVEAWAY! Cheery wave from Bev

love the new blocks and hope you do to as 110 is a lot.

The yellow in your photo may have to do with the lighting in the room

Have fun with your new toy.

Stopping over from Moda "Show Off Your Stash" link and read about your iron! Did you happen to buy it from allbrands.com on eBay? I spotted one from that seller while doing a search. Thanks for any info. Barb

To Barb...I priced the iron at AllBrands on eBay but it was 5.00 LESS at gotwaxed (what a name huh?). Shipping was free too! It's an AWESOME iron.
