UFO Project #4 FINISHED!

Here it is! Project #4, the Breeze quilt, finished! Woot! It's not a masterpiece but it's not a bunch of unfinished blocks anymore! This is the best photo I can get with my cheap, cheap, cheap camera. If you click on my photos twice, you can see them much better.
Here's a closeup of the quilting. As I told you, I had to quilt the sashing to make it lay flat.
Here's the back that I pieced with leftover blocks.
And here's a closeup of the binding. It had to be fussy cut so that it would look the same all the way around the quilt.

Sadly, this was started to showcase Breeze fabric that is a tropical-feeling, bright line. I say sadly because now that the quilt is finished, the fabric is sold out. This UFO project has been so much fun for me. I know it must be a boring blog subject because I notice other bloggers just show their finished tops or finished quilts. For me, it's interesting to see what comes up when you're quilting and piecing and how the person making the quilt handles those situations. Personally, I would like to see more of that. So, finished! Woot!

Your quilt is beautiful - congrats on a great finish! You are an inspiration to me. I'm another quilter who has a problem with finishing. But its really not a problem...just a sign of great enthusiasm!

Thanks for leaving a comment Debbie! I love your notion that having a huge pile of unfinished projects is just a sign of great enthusiasm....rather than a sign of attention deficit disorder...lol...
