Late last summer, my son who lives in Dallas was walking through the Dallas Farmers Market to buy fresh veggies. He heard a piteous cry from a flower pot, went over to investigate and found a tiny, grey kitten. The proprietor of the booth said he had no idea where the kitten had come from. He told Jason to take the kitten or he would kill it. Well, Jason took the kitten right to the vet and found out it was only 3 or 4 days old and was close to death.
Jason and his friends began a frantic search for a nursing cat while trying to get the baby to take special baby formula from a bottle. They never found a nursing cat but they got up in the middle of the night two or three times to feed the kitten. Jason took the kitten to work with him so the tiny baby was never alone and the kitten thrived.
His name is Hunter and he has grown into a healthy, frisky young cat. Maybe because he's my Grandcat, I think he's also very handsome. I love Hunter's story and thought you might love it too.

I love the looks of the cat! And what a great thing your son did. Is this cat as nice as he/she looks?
Ed: Oh, it is a him!
