A QUILT FOR JASON

I made a quilt for my son, Jason. It is an original design and the most difficult quilt I ever made. The optical illusion pattern made me dizzy when I quilted it! I found out that it is hanging.....in his closet. I'll say no more but you, my quilting friends, will understand. At least it hasn't become a cat bed.....yet....

awww...that's too bad. I hate it when people don't appreciate the work put into a quilt. Sorry to read this...

It's not a cat bed yet, and it's not in the trunk of his car with all of his greasy tools laying on top to protect his trunk.

My mom made several grandmothers flower garden quilts -the one with all those hexagons to give to the kids who were married and out of the house.

A few weeks later, she came home in tears because she saw how my brother was using his quilt. She stopped quilting after that.

This is awesome and a work of art! My first ever applique quilt has an eight inch hole in the center - the dog chewed a hole in it! Only a mother can spend so much time on a gift for their child.

I replied on quilt talk, but I completely understand. I had a friend that lives a few states away and I made her son two blankets and they were both away when I went to visit :(

That's amazing. I'm assuming that is all made out of tiny squares and shapes. Oh my goodness, very cool!
